What ProjectMetrica does
Our tools convert project dimensions into planning quantities such as cubic yards, tons, bags, rolls, pallets, blocks, panels and estimated project costs. We focus on calculations that are useful before ordering materials or comparing quotes.
How we build the calculators
Each calculator shows the assumptions behind the result. Where a material density, waste allowance, supplier coverage or local price can vary, the input is editable so the estimate can be matched to the actual project.

What our estimates are not
ProjectMetrica is a planning resource, not an engineering, architectural, surveying or contracting service. Site conditions, building codes, manufacturer requirements and local prices can materially change a project. Verify the final specification before purchasing materials or starting work.
How local quote matching works
Quote requests are optional. When you submit one, ProjectMetrica uses the project details and ZIP code to check whether a participating platform partner or home-improvement provider is available for that request. If a qualifying match is available, participating providers or platform partners may contact you about the project. ProjectMetrica is not the contractor, does not guarantee provider availability, and may receive compensation for an accepted request.
Submitting a request does not require you to hire anyone. Review written scope, credentials, timing, warranty and final pricing independently before choosing a provider.
Corrections and partnerships
If you find a calculation issue, outdated assumption or content that could be clearer, please contact us. We also welcome relevant partnership enquiries, but commercial relationships do not change the formulas used in our calculators.
