2. Important Quote-Request Disclosure

ProjectMetrica’s calculators and guides are available without submitting a quote request. If you voluntarily submit a quote request, we first collect the information and may transmit it to Triares, Inc., operating the WiserLeads/homeyou lead platform, and to participating home-improvement service providers, clients, end users, or their service providers so they can evaluate the request and contact you about the project. ProjectMetrica may receive compensation when a qualifying request is accepted.

When you submit the form, you direct ProjectMetrica to disclose the request information and facilitate interaction with Triares/WiserLeads/homeyou and one or more participating providers for the specific contractor-matching service you requested. ProjectMetrica does not treat this consumer-directed disclosure as a sale of personal information. ProjectMetrica may receive compensation when a qualifying request is accepted. Some jurisdictions may characterize compensated disclosures differently; where an applicable law treats a disclosure as a sale, we provide the rights described in Section 10.

3. Personal Information We Collect

We do not request Social Security numbers, government identification, financial-account credentials, health information, biometric identifiers, or precise geolocation through the quote form. Do not include such information in the project-description field.

4. How We Use Personal Information

• Provide calculators, guides, quote-request functionality and requested matching services.
• Validate a request, identify available participating buyers or providers, transmit an accepted lead, and display a confirmation widget where available.
• Communicate about the request and permit participating providers to contact you where authorized.
• Document consent, source, delivery and compliance evidence; investigate complaints and respond to audits or legal requests.
• Honor privacy requests, revocations, opt-outs and do-not-contact requests and prevent suppressed information from being sent again.
• Secure, debug, maintain and improve the website; detect fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• Measure site use, advertising and conversions when optional analytics or advertising consent has been provided or another lawful basis applies.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal claims, and protect users, ProjectMetrica and others.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

Necessary technologies support security, core functionality and storage of your privacy choices. With your permission where required, we may use Google Analytics and Google Ads technologies to measure use and conversions. You can accept, reject, or manage optional technologies through the site’s privacy-choices control. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from using calculators or submitting a quote request, although necessary consent-certification technology is used on the quote form to document the submission interaction.

Browser settings can also limit cookies. Where legally required and technically supported, we process recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising for that browser and device.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

• Triares/WiserLeads/homeyou and participating clients, end users and home-improvement providers, for quote matching and follow-up requested by you.
• Service providers that support hosting, security, consent certification, analytics, advertising, email, storage, professional advice and business operations, subject to appropriate restrictions.
• Government authorities, courts, regulators or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security.
• A buyer, successor or adviser in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
• Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense or disclose it to unrelated parties merely for their independent use. A quote-request disclosure occurs only when you voluntarily ask ProjectMetrica to facilitate contractor matching and direct us to transmit the information for that requested service. This consumer-directed matching disclosure is not treated by ProjectMetrica as a sale or as cross-context behavioral advertising. Because some jurisdictions may characterize compensated disclosures differently, we will provide applicable opt-out rights where required.

7. Contact Consent

Submitting a quote request is optional and requires affirmative agreement to the contact-consent statement displayed next to the submit button. The checkbox is not pre-selected. The statement explains that you may be contacted about home-improvement information by email, telephone or text, including through automated or prerecorded technologies where permitted, and that consent is not a condition of purchase. The exact statement presented at submission is retained as compliance evidence.

You may revoke consent or request not to be contacted by emailing support@projectmetrica.com and by using any opt-out method included in a communication. A revocation or do-not-contact request is added to our suppression system. It does not retroactively invalidate processing or disclosures that occurred before we received the request, and you may need to opt out directly from a provider that already received the request.

8. Data Retention

Lead and compliance records are retained for at least five years from the later of collection or delivery. We may retain them longer when required by applicable law, a contractual or client requirement, an investigation, complaint, dispute, audit, regulatory inquiry, subpoena, preservation request, or anticipated or actual litigation. After the minimum period, records are marked for reviewed deletion and are not deleted automatically while a hold applies.

Other records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, taking account of legal duties, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and enforcement. Suppression information may be retained to ensure that an opt-out continues to be honored.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted storage for sensitive lead evidence, restricted administrative access, logging, suppression controls and backup procedures. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Depending on your state and whether its law applies to ProjectMetrica, you may have the right to:

• confirm whether we process your personal information and access it;
• obtain a portable copy;
• correct inaccuracies;
• request deletion, subject to exceptions;
• obtain information about categories, sources, purposes and recipients;
• opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or certain profiling;
• limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
• appeal a refusal to act on a request; and
• receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

Submit a request by emailing support@projectmetrica.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” State your name, email, telephone number, state of residence and the right you wish to exercise. We will verify the request using information reasonably related to the request. Authorized agents must provide proof of authority, and we may verify the request directly with you.

To opt out of any processing legally treated as sale/sharing or targeted advertising, use the Privacy Choices control in the ProjectMetrica website footer or send a recognized opt-out preference signal where required. A universal opt-out signal applies to advertising and other processing covered by the applicable law. It does not itself submit a quote request. A later voluntary quote-form submission is processed as your specific direction to provide the contractor-matching service described at the form, subject to applicable law. An opt-out cannot reverse a disclosure already completed, but we apply it prospectively and add relevant contact identifiers to suppression where appropriate.

If we decline a request, residents entitled to appeal may reply to our decision or email support@projectmetrica.com with “Privacy Appeal.” You may also contact your state attorney general.

11. California Notice

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 10. The categories collected, sources, purposes and disclosures are described in Sections 3–6, and each category is retained under Section 8. ProjectMetrica treats the quote-request transfer as a consumer-directed disclosure under California Civil Code section 1798.140(ad)(2)(A) and (ah)(2)(A): you intentionally direct ProjectMetrica to disclose the information and facilitate interaction with Triares/WiserLeads/homeyou and participating providers for the matching service you requested. ProjectMetrica therefore does not treat that transfer as a sale or sharing under the CCPA. “Sharing” under the CCPA concerns cross-context behavioral advertising, which is separate from contractor matching.

Optional advertising technologies may involve CCPA sharing or another covered disclosure depending on their configuration. Where applicable, ProjectMetrica honors the right to opt out and recognized preference signals for that processing. If a regulator or applicable law characterizes a compensated quote-request transfer differently, ProjectMetrica will apply the required notice and opt-out rights. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

We do not offer a financial incentive or price/service difference in exchange for personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law, based on the data fields currently collected.

12. EEA/UK Data Protection Information

For EEA purposes, PROJECT METRICA LTD. (Bulgarian legal name: “Проджект Метрика” ЕООД) is the controller of information collected directly through ProjectMetrica unless another role is identified for a specific processing activity. Depending on the activity, we rely on steps requested before entering a contract or provision of a requested service, consent, compliance with legal obligations, and legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention, service improvement and legal claims. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

Your information may be transferred to recipients in the United States and other countries whose laws may not provide the same protection as your home country. Where GDPR transfer restrictions apply, we use an available lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards, which may include an adequacy decision or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where appropriate. Contact us to request information about applicable safeguards.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent and may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.

13. Children

ProjectMetrica is intended for adults and home-project decision makers and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 to submit a quote request. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child submitted information, contact support@projectmetrica.com.

14. Third-Party Sites and Services

The website may link to third-party sites and may display a confirmation experience supplied by homeyou after a successful request. Third parties process information under their own notices. Review their privacy practices before providing additional information.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices, services or law. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and provide additional notice where required. Material changes affecting consent or previously collected information will be handled as required by applicable law and relevant agreements.
